Juniper, oud, and incense. Hope is Frédéric Malle’s most elegant take on oud: a cool, coniferous and peppery opening, a clean oud heart with smoky incense and vetiver, and a warm base of soft leather and amber. The oud here feels noble and polished, without any harshness. Most importantly, this is a limited-edition collection. Oud varies in nuance from harvest to harvest, so this particular variety was used only for this release; this exact character cannot be recreated.
