Indian brocade embroidered with gold — the image behind this fragrance. Morillas created a rare “white” oud: neither dark nor medicinal, but luminous from within. It opens brightly, with bergamot and mandarin bringing a citrus flash while sambac jasmine adds immediate creamy white-floral richness. In the heart, tuberose unfolds with an almost tangible fullness, shaded by earthy cypriol and sharp black pepper, while vetiver and patchouli provide a dry woody structure. Beneath it all runs oud — Assafi and Laotian together — refined rather than loud: it does not overwhelm the flowers, but illuminates them like golden thread woven through fabric.
